The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission is the independent regulatory agency mandated by Government to monitor and regulate the electricity industry in Nigeria. The Commission is committed to promoting and ensuring efficient market structures and an investor-friendly industry to meet Nigeria's need for safe, adequate, reliable and affordable electricity.

NERC is recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Analyst III, Procurement
Location: Any City, Nigeria
Job Description
The Analyst, Procurement will assist in coordinating procurement matters for the Commission and as guided by the Head Procurement Unit.
The job holder will report to the Head Procurement Unit.
Key Responsibilities
This person assists in:
Developing and maintaining a preferred supplier database
Developing and maintaining a reporting system for contractor and supplier performance;
Managing the record-keeping requirements of the tender and contracting processes
Facilitating expenditure reviews to identify opportunities to add value through improved procurement
Establishing and maintaining a Contact Register.
Qualifications and Skills
A bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing Mathematics, Statistics, or any field of Engineering
Minimum of 1 year post-graduation experience
Able to pay attention to detail
Must be disciplined, ethical and possess a high level of integrity
Excellent organization skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
